General Returns
You must Contact Us to get a RGA number and shipping address for your return.
All returned merchandise must be in resalable condition
The product must be free from scratches and/or defects
Items must have the manufacturer's documents that came in the box.
All merchandise can not have been installed
You must have the original packaging for the item.
There can not be any writing or labels on the packaging for the item.
Send your return back by FedEx or UPS
You are responsible for shipping damage to your returns. Please insure your shipments. We can not give credit for damaged products.
Please keep your tracking number.
Please Note: Do not send products to our company headquarters in Maine, unless directed to do so by a customer service representative.
Tip: How to avoid shipping damage on your return:
If the items you are returning are packaged only in the manufatures original packaging, please leave them in their package AND repack them securely in another box.
Double boxing and packing material, as noted above, usually eliminates all shipping damage, but if it does occur we will notifiy you by phone immediately and email you information on the damage so you can notify your carrier for a claim.
Restock Fees
Please note: Restock fees only apply to general returns, not products with shipping damage or other defects.
- 0% restock fee on all returned Sea Gull Lighting Items.
- 0% restock fee on all returned Sea Schon Sinks and Faucets (Orders Placed after 01/10/2008)
- 15% or less on all returned Faucets
- 15% or less on all returned sinks
- 25% or less on all returned World Imports Lighting Items.
- Special Order Items (Items we do not stock and where ordered from the manufacturer SPECIAL ORDER) that must go back to manufacturer will also have the manufactures' restock fee applied too.
A Word About Restock Fees:
In most cases, we ship direct from our suppliers. In the long run, this saves you money because they ship in such a large volume that it lowers the shipping rates for all. This is what allows us to offer free shipping.
However, when an item is returned, they do charge us a restock fee, and we must then pass this fee onto the customer.
Shipping Damage and Defective Products Policy
NOTE:
We are not responsible for any labor costs, which occur as the result of the installation
of wrong or defective parts. In addition we are not responsible for lost shipments.
Please contact us and we will file a lost shipment freight claim with the respective shipper.
Please note: There are no restock fees on defective products.
UPS Shipping Damage
If you are home when UPS delivers and you package has obvious shipping damage. Please refuse it (do not sign for it) and have the driver note the damage. Most drivers will wait for you to open the box it appears damaged, if you ask.
We will give you credit as soon as we have confirmation the product was refused for damage.
Please note: All sinks are double boxed with v-board protection between boxes. The outer box may be beat up but the inner box may be fine.
If you are not home and UPS leaves you a obvious shipping damage product. Give us a call. We either pick the item up (at our expense) and give you a credit or we may have you hold it for UPS to inspect (10 days max) and give you a credit.
All shipping damage must be reported within 10 days of receiving your order.
Motor Freight Carrier Shipping Damage
Please Be Advised on Items Shipped by Motor Freight
BEFORE YOU SIGN TO ACCEPT YOUR ORDER, which means you except delivery in as is condition .........All items must be inspected for shipping damage
PLEASE DO NOT SIGN FOR ANY ITEM THAT HAS SHIPPING DAMAGE TO THE SHIPPING CONTAINER OR PALLET.
It is best to open the box and inspect the sink before signing if the driver will allow it.
If the driver will not allow you to open the box before signing and you suspect shipping
damage, PLEASE note the reason(s) you suspect damage with your signature and get a copy.
It will be difficult to get credit for shipping damage, once an item is signed for.
Your signature means you accept the item(s) "As Is"

Concealed Shipping Damage
- All shipping damage must be reported within 10 days of receiving your order.
- If UPS leaves your package when you are not at home and it is damaged please call or email us immediatly.
Please Note: Do not send us your damaged or defective product.
WE WILL PICK IT UP.
- Concealed shipping damage and manufacturer defects. If you find concealed shipping damage or a manufacturing defect (like a scrath on the finish, abrasions or other defects. The policy is the same. We will send you a new product and pick up the old.
Please Note: Please repack the damaged product so it is suitable for shipping UPS will have the shipping label when they pick the package up.
Please Note: We may elect to send you replacement parts: Example: chipped porcelian faucet handles or broken lighting fixture glass. (Most lighting fixture glass is in stock at all times!)
Defective Products
You may return any item you find to be defective in materials or manufacturing workmanship within 29 days of the order date.
You must have a Return Authorization to return a defective product you have accepted delivery on.
Please Note: Do not send us your damaged or defective product. WE WILL PICK IT UP AT at no cost to you.
